The 16in MacBook Pro; released back in November 2019, came with a larger screen but the components were the same as the 15in model. With the release of the M1 chip and nearly two years have passed, it’s high time for us to get an updated 16in MacBook Pro; possibly with an updated M1 chip than the MacBook Pro 13in. So, let’s talk about what Apple has in store for the next MacBook Pro 16in model.
With the release of the M1 chip, the popularity of MacBooks has risen up by a leap and bounds in recent months. The released M1 chip only came on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13in model and the 16in model still comes with an intel processor.
The rumors are going crazy recently. Not only is Apple expected to finally upgrade the MacBook Pro’s display, and the inclusion of the new Apple Silicon M2 chip, we’re also expected to see the return of some much-needed features from days gone by. The MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021 is shaping up to be an incredible machine.
The 13in MacBook Pro has proven to be great with its performance and battery life but nothing can beat the joy of working on a larger screen. Furthermore, since the first 16-inch MacBook Pro released in 2019 was very well-praised, we have exceptionally high hopes for the follow-up.
So far the rumors are going crazy about the details and features of the new MacBook Pro 16in 2021. Here are some rumors:
- Return of MagSafe
- Loss of TouchBar
- Upgraded version of the Apple M1 chip; tentatively called the M1X
